About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and technically strong Technical Lead to join our AI Productivity Centre of Excellence. This role combines hands-on engineering, technical leadership, and client engagement to deliver AI-enabled productivity solutions.
As a Lead you will drive full-stack development, influence architectural decisions, mentor engineers, and actively contribute to innovation initiatives around GenAI and developer productivity.
This is a client-facing role, requiring strong communication skills to present solutions, lead technical discussions, and bridge business and engineering needs.
Key Responsibilities
1. Technical Leadership & Delivery
- Lead end-to-end design and development of scalable full-stack applications
- Drive architectural decisions and enforce engineering best practices
- Translate business requirements into robust technical solutions
- Contribute hands-on to critical modules, PoCs, and production code
- Collaborate with architects to ensure alignment with enterprise standards
2. Team Mentorship & Development
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers on coding standards and design patterns
- Conduct effective code reviews to improve overall code quality
- Support sprint planning, estimation, and technical breakdowns
- Identify skill gaps and drive continuous learning within the team
3. Client Engagement & Communication
- Present technical solutions, demos, and progress updates to stakeholders
- Act as a bridge between business requirements and engineering execution
- Lead technical discussions in client meetings and agile ceremonies
- Prepare clear documentation and technical presentations
4. AI Productivity & Innovation
- Explore and integrate AI/GenAI tools to enhance engineering productivity
- Apply prompt engineering techniques in development workflows
- Stay updated with emerging trends in LLMs and AI-assisted development
- Contribute to CoE innovation, R&D, and knowledge-sharing initiatives
Mandatory Skills
Backend Development (Any One)
- .NET Core / ASP.NET – C#, REST APIs, Entity Framework
- Java (Spring Boot) – Spring MVC, JPA/Hibernate
- Node.js – Express/NestJS, REST & event-driven architectures
Full-Stack Development
- Frontend: React / Angular / Vue.js with TypeScript, HTML, CSS
- Strong experience in API design, integration, and consumption
- Ability to independently own end-to-end application development
Cloud Platforms (Any One)
- AWS: EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, API Gateway, IAM
- Azure: App Services, Functions, DevOps, Azure AI
Communication Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Proven client-facing and presentation experience
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders
Required Technical Expertise
Architecture & Design
- Strong knowledge of design patterns (SOLID, MVC, DI, Repository)
- Experience with microservices and distributed architectures
- Ability to evaluate and justify architectural decisions
DevOps & CI/CD
- Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins)
- Working knowledge of Docker and containerization
- Strong understanding of Git workflows and code reviews
Agile Practices
- Experience in Agile (Scrum/Kanban/SAFe) environments
- Active participation in sprint ceremonies and delivery lifecycle
- Familiarity with Jira, Azure Boards, or similar tools
GenAI Fundamentals
- Basic understanding of LLMs and their applications
- Exposure to prompt engineering techniques
- Familiarity with tools like GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS / Azure certifications
- Experience with serverless architectures (Lambda, Azure Functions)
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation)
- Understanding of security best practices (OAuth2, JWT, OWASP Top 10)
- Experience with SQL & NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)
- Participation in CoE initiatives or knowledge-sharing programs
