Position Overview (Offshore)
We are seeking a hands-on Technical Leader with strong expertise in .NET and SQL to drive design, development, and delivery of highquality technology solutions within the Financial Services Industry (FSI). The ideal candidate will combine deep technical capability with leadership skills to guide engineers, influence architecture, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
A background in Capital Markets is highly desirable. Experience with platforms such as Murex or Calypso is considered a strong plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, promoting best practices in coding, design, and delivery.
- Architect, design, and develop robust, scalable solutions using .NET technologies.
- Build and optimize database solutions leveraging SQL Server and related data technologies.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, analysts, and product owners within FSI domains.
- Drive end-to-end solution delivery, including technical planning, documentation, implementation, and support.
- Oversee code reviews, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of complex technical issues.
- Support integration and workflow systems commonly used in financial markets.
- Ensure adherence to compliance, security, and governance standards relevant to financial institutions.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of hands-on software development experience, including strong command of C# / .NET.
- Solid expertise in SQL, database design, and performance optimization.
- Demonstrated experience leading or mentoring technical teams.
- Strong understanding of system design, integration patterns, and API development.
- Prior experience working in the Financial Services Industrybanking, trading, payments, risk, treasury, or related environments.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, regulated, and mission-critical environments.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- Experience in Capital Markets, including trading, risk management, or post trade processes.
- Knowledge of Murex or Calypso platforms and related workflows.
- Familiarity with cloud ecosystems (Azure, AWS) and modern DevOps practices.
- Exposure to microservices, messaging systems, or real-time data processing.
