About the Role

The Linux Device Driver position is crucial for our ongoing projects, requiring a skilled professional with 5-10 years of experience in developing and maintaining device drivers for Linux systems. The role involves working closely with hardware and software teams to ensure seamless integration and performance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Linux device drivers.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to understand device specifications.
• Debug and troubleshoot driver issues in a timely manner.
• Optimize driver performance and ensure compatibility with various Linux distributions.
• Document driver development processes and maintain code quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in Linux device driver development.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in C programming language.
• Strong understanding of Linux kernel architecture.
• Experience with debugging tools and techniques.
• Familiarity with hardware interfaces and protocols.

Preferred Skills

• Linux kernel driver development experience.
• Knowledge of Framebuffer and/or DRM/KMS architecture.
• Hands-on experience with multimedia drivers (Display, Camera, Video).

Pay range and compensation package

The salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $130,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
