Technical Lead - JavaScript

Key Responsibilities:

• Development Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of software engineers specializing in JavaScript, providing technical guidance, performance feedback, and training to enhance team productivity and skills.
• Architecture and Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and architect JavaScript-based applications and solutions that align with both business and technical requirements.
• Software Development: Develop and maintain complex web applications, components, and modules using JavaScript and related technologies.
• Code Review: Conduct code reviews, ensure code quality, and maintain best practices and coding standards within the development team.
• Technical Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation related to software architecture, code, and development processes.
• Performance Optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks, implement optimizations, and conduct load testing for JavaScript-based applications.
• Security: Implement and ensure adherence to security best practices to protect against common web application vulnerabilities.
• Front-End Integration: Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure smooth integration between the server-side and client-side components.
• Technical Expertise: Stay updated with JavaScript technologies, trends, and best practices, and share your knowledge with the team.
• Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues promptly and effectively.
• Project Management: Manage development projects, including requirements gathering, estimation, project planning, and successful delivery.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
• Proven experience in JavaScript development, with a strong track record in developing web applications
• Leadership experience, with demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of developers
• Proficiency in JavaScript and related libraries/frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Node.js)
• Strong understanding of web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, and RESTful APIs
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g., JavaScript frameworks) is a plus
• Knowledge of back-end technologies and databases (e.g., Node.js, MongoDB) is a plus
