Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Developer & Technical Lead to design, develop, and deploy scalable, robust applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with AWS services (CloudFront, S3, Aurora PostgreSQL), Node.js, TypeScript, and modern frontend frameworks such as React.js and Next.js.

Key Responsibilities

1. Hands-on Development & Coding

• Design and implement microservices using Node.js and TypeScript
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs
• Optimize services hosted on AWS (CloudFront, S3, Aurora PostgreSQL, etc.)

2. System Architecture & Operations

• Contribute to system architecture and component design in collaboration with architects and technical leads
• Integrate with Databricks as a data lake to consume data products (no data engineering required)
• Ensure secure and reliable authentication and authorization using Auth0

3. Agile Delivery

• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives)
• Occasionally take on the role of Scrum Master to facilitate team delivery
• Use Jira and Confluence for tracking and documentation

4. Cross-Team Collaboration

• Work closely with frontend engineers (React.js, Next.js), DevOps, QA teams, and product managers
• Ensure consistency, scalability, and maintainability across services and teams
• Collaborate with other technical leads to align on standards, interfaces, and dependencies
