Role: Tech Lead – Python, Fast API, Agentic AI,AWS

Location: Chennai

Experience: 9+ Years

Key Summary:

We are looking for a hands-on Tech Lead – Python with strong expertise in Python,Fast API and to join our engineering team.

In this role, you will lead Python development, manage cloud deployments on OpenShift and Azure, ensure robust application security, and leverage modern AI-assisted development tools (Claude, Cursor) to drive productivity and innovation.

Technical Requirements

• 8–12 years of experience in software engineering
• Strong expertise in Python (core concepts including decorators and advanced features)
• Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure
• Strong experience in building RESTful APIs and distributed systems
• Expertise in microservices architecture and containerization (Docker)
• Experience with Kubernetes / ECS and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong understanding of system design and scalability patterns
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Proven ability to own and drive projects independently

Good to Have

• Exposure to observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, etc.)
• Experience in AI/ML or LLM-based systems
• Knowledge of multi-cloud architectures

Role& Responsibilities

• Design, develop and/or re-engineer highly complex application components, and integrate software packages, programs and reusable objects residing on multiple platforms.
• .As part of a dedicated, agile team, you will be responsible for performing product development based on Agile methodologies & participate in requirements / user story analysis and design.
• Complete activities related to the assigned user stories based on priority.
• Conduct appropriate unit and module testing. Detect report, investigate and fix defects in the application (production support).
• Work effectively in collaboration with other team members - as well as other support functions when required.
• Continued focus on improving the productapplications.
