Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead (6+ Years Experience) to guide a cross-functional team of software engineers while architecting scalable, resilient solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). In this role, you will balance technical strategy, cloud system design, code quality, and people leadership—acting as the bridge between product roadmap requirements and hands-on software development.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience
6+ years of overall software development experience, with at least 2+ years in a lead or principal engineer capacity.
GCP Expertise
Proven hands-on experience designing and running workloads on GCP (GKE, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, IAM, VPCs).
Programming
Proficiency in at least one primary backend language (e.g., Python, Go, Java, Node.js, C#) and deep understanding of OOP/functional design principles.
Database Systems
Strong knowledge of relational (PostgreSQL, Cloud SQL) and NoSQL/Distributed databases (Firestore, Bigtable, Cloud Spanner).
Leadership
Demonstrated ability to manage software development lifecycles, resolve technical conflicts, and mentor junior/mid-level engineers.
Certifications (Good to have)
GCP Professional Cloud Architect or GCP Professional Data Engineer is highly desirable.
