RRD GO CREATIVE is currently seeking Technical Lead for Creative Communications team to join in Chennai
Key Responsibilities:
- Own technical architecture decisions for all RRD-delivered projects CMS builds, front-end experiences, web apps, emails, banners, interactive experiences and kiosks.
- Strong DevOps background, including dev AI automation Github copilot, Claude code, Curser AI
- Define and document technical standards for each deliverable type (platform choices, coding conventions, repo structure, deployment protocols)
- Conduct code reviews for all RRD developers before deliverables advance to QA enforce standards consistently
- Personally remove technical blockers: when a developer is stuck on environment access, integration issues, or complex build decisions, this person resolves it
- Lead RRD pod standups; provide technical status updates directly to Delivery Managers and escalate risks proactively
- Triage technical defects surfaced by QA classify root cause, assign remediation, verify fixes
- Build alongside the team when capacity requires it this is a hands-on role with a target of 60% leadership / 40% direct contribution
- Partner with client leadership team on standards alignment, tooling decisions, and team architecture
- Evaluate new tools, frameworks, and automation opportunities; present recommendations with clear rationale
- Own RRD onboarding for new technical hires ensure every new developer is properly set up, trained on client standards, and productive within their first week.
Requirements for this role include:
- 7+ years of hands-on development experience, with at least 3 years in a technical lead or architect role
- Equally proficient in both Drupal and Wordpress
- Proven track record leading offshore or distributed development teams in an agency environment
- Demonstrable full-stack proficiency not a generalist who dabbles; someone who can review and unblock work at every layer
- Experience defining and enforcing technical standards across a multi-developer team with diverse skill sets
- Strong communicator able to translate technical complexity for non-technical Delivery Managers and stakeholders
- Healthcare, pharma, or regulated industry experience strongly preferred; familiarity with MLR review process a major plus
- Experience with the full deliverable mix (CMS, banners, emails, interactive, apps) preferred over deep specialization in one area
