Job Purpose
The Technical Lead will be responsible for IT application development while providing strong technical leadership to the team. This role involves leading the design and technical implementation of products and projects, ensuring accountability for technical deliverables, and driving high standards of engineering. The position also focuses on mentoring team members, promoting automation and innovation, and ensuring project execution aligns with client expectations.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead the design and technical implementation of products and projects.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of IT applications.
- Take ownership of all technical deliverables across the project lifecycle.
- Guide, mentor, and support junior developers within the team.
- Define and enforce coding standards across the entire technology stack.
- Contribute to code reviews and architectural design/reviews to improve team efficiency and solution quality.
- Promote automation and innovation across development processes.
- Ensure projects are executed in line with client expectations and agreed technical standards.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence within the team.
- Demonstrate high proactiveness, autonomy, and responsiveness within an agile working environment.
- Follow high craftsmanship practices in software development.
Requirements
- 7-10 years of relevant experience in application development and testing.
- Strong experience in solutioning and delivering high-quality software applications in production environments.
- Proven expertise in delivering and leading internet-facing applications.
- Experience working with public cloud platforms, specifically Microsoft Azure.
- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies.
