Role & responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure on AWS.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and other CI/CD tools.
- Utilize Terraform to define, provision, and manage infrastructure as code.
- Write and maintain scripts using Bash and Python to automate tasks and improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline software development and deployment processes.
- Implement monitoring solutions to ensure the health and performance of applications and infrastructure.
- Ensure security best practices are integrated into infrastructure and application development.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues promptly.
- Continuously evaluate and integrate new tools and technologies to improve DevOps processes.
- Document processes, configurations, and best practices for knowledge sharing and compliance.
Preferred candidate profile
Mandatory Technical Skills
- Proven experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.).
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline development and management.
- Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools and practices.
- Excellent scripting skills using Bash and Python.
- Strong understanding of monitoring tools and practices.
- Solid understanding of security best practices for infrastructure and application development.
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
