Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead – AWS Agentic AI Platform with 10 to 12 years of software engineering experience to lead the architecture, implementation, and modernisation of enterprise AI agent platforms on AWS. This role will own critical workstreams across agent registry, gateway, evaluation, harness engineering, automated onboarding, lifecycle management, security, and platform delivery. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on expertise in AWS Bedrock AgentCore, Python, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, API security, policy-based authorization frameworks, AWS Identity and Access Management, and cloud security governance. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership, guide agent migration initiatives, mentor engineering teams, and help establish a secure, scalable, and production-ready enterprise agent ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the architecture and implementation of agent Registry, Gateway, Evaluation, and Harness workstreams.

Drive automated agent onboarding and end-to-end agent lifecycle management.

Design and implement policy-based authorization using frameworks such as Cedar, Open Policy Agent (OPA/Rego), OpenFGA/Auth0 FGA, Keycloak Authorization Services, or similar enterprise authorization solutions.

Design and enforce AWS Identity and Access Management controls, Service Control Policies, cloud security governance, and enterprise security guardrails.

Lead the migration of Semantic Kernel and LangChain-based agents to AWS Bedrock AgentCore.

Design, build, and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.

Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code deployments using Terraform, AWS Cloud Development Kit, and AWS CloudFormation.

Build and integrate secure REST APIs and Model Context Protocol interfaces.

Implement authentication and authorization patterns using OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect.

Collaborate with architecture, security, platform, and engineering stakeholders to ensure scalable, secure, and reliable platform delivery.

Provide hands-on technical guidance, mentor engineering teams, and resolve complex architecture, integration, security, and delivery blockers.

Establish and promote engineering best practices across code quality, automation, observability, security, deployment governance, and operational readiness.

Mandatory Skills Required

8 to 10 years of software engineering experience, including experience leading complex technical workstreams.

Strong hands-on experience with AWS Bedrock AgentCore.

Strong experience with policy-based authorization frameworks such as: Cedar/ Open Policy Agent (OPA/Rego) / OpenFGA/Auth0 FGA/ Keycloak Authorization Services and Similar enterprise authorization solutions

Experience with AWS Identity and Access Management and cloud security governance.

Knowledge of Service Control Policies and enterprise security guardrails.

Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code technologies, including: Terraform, AWS Cloud Development Kit and AWS CloudFormation

Proficiency and coding experience in Python and in advance level.

Experience designing, implementing, and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.

Strong understanding of REST API design, development, security, and integration.

Experience working with Model Context Protocol.

Knowledge of authentication and authorization standards, including OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect.

Proven ability to provide engineering direction across architecture, integration, security, and platform delivery.

Ability to mentor development teams, resolve complex technical challenges, and drive engineering best practices.

Nice to Have Skills

Experience with AWS Strands.

Hands-on knowledge of LangChain.

Experience developing solutions using Semantic Kernel.

Exposure to enterprise agent platforms and large-scale agent lifecycle management.

Experience with Gemini Enterprise integrations.

Knowledge of Amazon Neptune and Amazon OpenSearch.

Experience working in Life Sciences environments.

Understanding of GxP and DSDLC compliance requirements.
