Technical Lead responsible for managing multiple hardware development projects, performing design analysis, coordinating with vendors, leading documentation, and ensuring successful delivery of hardware systems in automotive applications.
Key ResponsibilitiesHandle multiple hardware development projects and ensure technical excellence.
Perform resource planning, task delegation, and vendor coordination.
Conduct design analysis, EMI/EMC evaluation, and value engineering.
Perform component selection and MATLAB-based hardware simulation.
Plan, schedule, and track hardware development milestones.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, customers, and suppliers.
Support board bring-up, troubleshooting, and issue tracking.
Work on electric drive systems, steering, brakes, and body electronics.
Analyze requirements and propose design enhancements.
Manage client interactions, reviews, documentation, and reporting.
Skills RequiredTechnical Requirements8+ years of experience in Automotive Power Electronics Hardware Design.
Strong exposure to Electric Drive Systems, Brakes, Steering, Body Electronics.
Experience in board bring-up and hardware debugging.
Strong understanding of EMI/EMC design principles.
Experience with MATLAB-based hardware simulation.
Knowledge of full hardware product development lifecycle.
Familiarity with Functional Safety (ISO 26262) preferred.
Experience working with Agile processes preferred.
Soft Skills / Competency RequirementsExcellent communication and presentation skills.
Good documentation and reporting abilities.
Ability to coordinate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
Strong skills in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Good leadership and team management abilities.
Educational QualificationBachelor's Degree / Diploma in Engineering (Automotive/Electrical/Electronics preferred)
8+ years relevant automotive hardware experience
