About the Venture

We're a stealth-mode health technology company building an AI-powered platform to transform how clinical documentation happens in India.

Our platform uses advanced voice AI and large language models to listen to doctor–patient conversations and automatically generate structured clinical notes — helping doctors spend more time with patients and less time on paperwork.

We're tackling one of the largest workflow inefficiencies in healthcare by combining speech recognition, AI reasoning, and clinical workflow automation into a seamless product designed for real-world clinical environments.

Our team blends deep medical expertise with strong engineering and AI capabilities. With early traction from clinicians and a working product foundation, we're entering the next phase: building a robust, scalable platform ready for large-scale adoption.

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Tech Lead to drive the engineering execution of our AI-powered platform.This is a hands-on leadership role where you will design core systems, write production code, mentor engineers, and establish strong engineering processes that enable rapid and reliable product development.A critical responsibility of this role is helping implement and enforce an AI-enhanced Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) that supports rapid iteration of AI systems while maintaining reliability, observability, and engineering discipline.

You will work closely with the CTO, product team, and AI engineers to translate product ideas into scalable systems.

What You'll Do

Technical Leadership

Lead the development of core platform architecture across frontend, backend, and AI infrastructure.

Design scalable systems that support real-time audio processing, transcription, and AI-driven clinical note generation.

Ensure engineering decisions balance speed, reliability, and long-term scalability.

Partner with the CTO to evolve the platform architecture as the product scales.

AI Platform Engineering

Build and maintain systems supporting speech-to-text pipelines, LLM orchestration, and AI-powered workflows.

Design infrastructure for AI inference, model evaluation, and iteration cycles.

Work with AI engineers to integrate LLM and NLP systems into production applications.

Ensure AI systems are robust, observable, and continuously improving through real-world usage. 

AI-Enhanced SDLC & Engineering Process

Help design and implement an AI-enhanced SDLC tailored for AI product development.

Establish engineering processes for:

·       rapid experimentation and iteration

·       AI model evaluation and benchmarking

·       prompt and LLM iteration cycles

·       feature experimentation and A/B testing

·       reliable deployment and rollback mechanisms

·       Ensure teams follow consistent development standards, documentation practices, and code quality guidelines. 

Hands-on Development

Write high-quality production code across frontend, backend, and platform layers.

Own critical features end-to-end from architecture to deployment.

Build APIs, services, and infrastructure that support the core product experience.

Team Leadership & Mentorship

Mentor and support engineers to improve technical depth and execution quality.

Conduct code reviews and enforce strong engineering standards.

Help grow a culture of ownership, accountability, and fast execution.

Platform Reliability & Performance

Ensure the system meets high standards for performance, uptime, and reliability.

Identify and address scalability bottlenecks.

Improve monitoring, logging, and observability across the system. 

Required Experience

Proven experience leading development of complex production systems

Strong experience designing and implementing scalable SaaS platforms

Significant hands-on experience with AI/ML or LLM-based products

Experience working with NLP, conversational AI, or speech systems

Experience implementing structured engineering processes and development workflows

Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical teams 

Technical Skills

Frontend

Strong experience with React / Next.js (TypeScript)

Backend

Strong backend development experience with Node.js (NestJS / Fastify preferred)

Experience designing scalable REST APIs and distributed systems

Data & Infrastructure

Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and data modeling

Experience working with Docker and containerized environments

Experience deploying systems on AWS, GCP, or Azure 

Systems Engineering

Strong understanding of system design, scalability, distributed systems, performance optimization

AI / LLM Experience (Required)

Experience integrating or deploying LLM-based systems in production

Familiarity with AI inference pipelines, prompt engineering workflows, or model evaluation frameworks

Experience building or integrating NLP, speech recognition, or conversational AI systems
