Job Description
Role: Technical Head - Aerospace Mechanical PD
Required Technical Skill Set
Experience in Design & Development of Aircraft - Nose to Tail covering Structures, Interiors & Aerosystems. Sound knowledge of product development across design lifecycle is a must.

Location: Bengaluru
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Deep experience in end-to-end aircraft mechanical design and development across fuselage, wing, empennage, landing gear interfaces, cabins/interiors, and aerosystems installation.
- Strong expertise in primary and secondary structures design, metallic and composite structures, stress-informed design, and structural integration.
- Hands-on capability in aircraft interiors design including monuments, bins, panels, seats integration, safety, packaging, ergonomics, and certification constraints.
- Solid understanding of aerosystems packaging and installation covering ECS, fuel, hydraulics, pneumatics, landing gear systems, and associated mechanical interfaces.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling and drawing release using aerospace design tools such as CATIA / NX, with strong command of GD&T and tolerance stack-up.
- Sound experience in engineering analysis, FEA-led design validation, weight optimization, design-for-manufacture, design-for-assembly, and producibility.
- Strong understanding of airworthiness, certification, and compliance requirements with exposure to FAA/EASA regulations, qualification, verification, and validation processes.
- Experience in configuration management, change control, product lifecycle management, and engineering release processes across the aircraft development lifecycle.
- Ability to lead design reviews, root-cause resolution, cross-functional technical decisions, and customer-facing engineering discussions for complex development programs.
- Strong mentoring, solutioning, and program leadership capability to guide large engineering teams across concept, detailed design, testing, certification, and in-service support.
