Mandai Wildlife Group is the steward of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that is home to world-renown wildlife parks which connect visitors to the fascinating world of wildlife. The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore's Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces and an eco-friendly resort.
Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on the mechanical and electrical systems of the Amazon River Quest and Carousel rides.
- Maintenance activities for rides at Rainforest Wild Adventure East will also be included to broaden technical competencies and enhance skill development.
- Manage and ensure all daily and ad-hoc tasks are performed in safe and timely manner in accordance with OEM requirements.
- Logs completion of maintenance inspections, corrective action and/or repairs made using maintenance system such as daily checklist and logbook.
- Perform troubleshooting and recovery of Ride related faults.
- Manage and supervise team members.
- Manage and ensure sufficient rides spare parts and inventory items.
- Accountability of tools and equipment and good housekeeping
- Any other related work as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Higher Nitec/Diploma in Mechanical/Mechatronic/Electrical Engineering or related field of studies with 2-3 years in equipment maintenance preferred.
- Candidates with no prior rides maintenance experience but with a keen interest in developing their technical skills will be considered.
- Ability to read and interpret maintenance manual to carry out work assignment.
- Ability to perform shifts including weekends and public holidays.
- Able to work at height.
- Basic computer skills (MS office).
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in electrical and mechanical issues. Effective communication and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Physically capable of lifting and installing of components
- Prior experience in amusement rides maintenance will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of safety regulations for electrical and mechanical systems.
