Role Description The Technical Executive role is a full-time, on-site position based in chennai, india. The person in this role will support customers and internal teams by providing technical guidance on coatings and paint products, including product selection, application methods, and troubleshooting. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting site visits, performing product trials, monitoring application performance, and preparing technical reports and documentation. The Technical Executive will collaborate closely with sales, R&D, and manufacturing teams to address customer requirements, resolve quality issues, and support new product introductions. The role also involves training customer personnel on best practices, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards, and contributing to continuous improvement of technical services.

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge in paints, coatings, or chemical engineering, with the ability to understand formulations, application processes, and performance characteristics.
• Experience in technical service, field support, or customer-facing engineering roles, preferably within the coatings, automotive, or industrial manufacturing sectors.
• Ability to conduct on-site evaluations, product trials, and root-cause analysis, and to document findings in clear technical reports.
• Effective communication and presentation skills for interacting with customers, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in basic data analysis and use of standard office software (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word) to track performance metrics and prepare documentation.
• Understanding of safety, health, and environmental regulations relevant to paint and coatings application, with a commitment to safe working practices.
• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field; equivalent practical experience may be considered.
• Ability to work on-site in chennai, travel to customer locations as needed, and manage time and priorities independently.
