JOB DESCRIPTION : Facility Technical Executive

Position Details

Designation: Technical Executive

Location: Hi-Tech City, Hyderabad

Required Qualifications and Experience:

Qualification: Bachelor's degree in engineering, Facility Management, or related technical field

Experience: 2-4 years of proven experience in technical facilities management within corporate environments (mandatory)

Industry Background: Strong preference for candidates with experience at leading facility management organizations

Shift Schedule: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM, 6 days per week

Critical Requirements

Site Management Capability: The successful candidate must be capable of independently managing the entire facility site with support from only one soft services executive. This requires strong leadership, technical proficiency, and the ability to handle multiple operational aspects simultaneously.

Corporate Sector Experience: Prior experience in corporate facility management is mandatory. Candidates must demonstrate understanding of corporate standards, client expectations, and professional service delivery in enterprise environments.

Industry Background: Strong preference for candidates with experience at leading facility management companies, bringing established best practices and corporate facility management expertise.

Role Overview

Join facility operations team as a Technical Executive, where you'll take ownership of site management and ensure operational excellence across all technical and maintenance functions. This position requires an independent, technically proficient professional who can manage comprehensive facility operations with minimal supervision while maintaining high service standards.

Key Responsibilities

Facility Operations Management

Oversee complete daily site operations and provide technical leadership in maintaining facility infrastructure. Develop and implement comprehensive preventative maintenance programs to ensure optimal facility performance. Manage all essential site activities including electrical systems, mechanical equipment, HVAC operations, and infrastructure maintenance while ensuring compliance with government regulations, client requirements, and organizational policies. Apply expertise in critical environment procedures to maintain operational continuity and safety standards across the facility.

Independent Site Leadership

Take full ownership of facility management with minimal supervision, coordinating with only one soft services executive for support. Make autonomous decisions regarding technical issues, maintenance priorities, and operational challenges. Demonstrate strong problem-solving capabilities and technical judgment to address issues promptly and effectively without constant oversight.

Performance and Service Delivery

Drive performance excellence by meeting and exceeding service level agreements and key performance indicators outlined in management contracts. Maintain consistent achievement of all contractual obligations and performance targets. Monitor and track operational metrics independently to ensure high service delivery standards that meet corporate expectations.

Continuous Improvement Initiatives

Lead and implement improvement programs and cost-saving initiatives that deliver measurable value to the organization. Execute energy management programs to reduce utility costs and eliminate operational wastages. Proactively identify opportunities for process optimization and operational efficiency enhancements across all facility operations.

Vendor and Project Coordination

Independently manage vendor relationships and coordinate multi-faceted projects from initiation through completion. Ensure vendors deliver services according to specifications, timelines, and quality standards. Oversee technical and safety audits, coordinate repair schedules, and maintain alignment between project deliverables and established timelines without requiring constant supervision.

Standards Development and Best Practices

Contribute to the creation and refinement of engineering service delivery standards based on corporate facility management experience. Implement and review site-specific processes and protocols that align with operational requirements. Apply best practices learned from previous corporate environments to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.

Technical Problem Resolution

Serve as the primary technical resource for the site, providing expert solutions to complex facility challenges. Respond promptly to technical emergencies and operational issues with minimal guidance. Leverage strong technical knowledge across electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems to diagnose and resolve problems efficiently.

Safety and Compliance Management

Ensure all facility operations comply with workplace safety regulations, government requirements, and corporate policies. Conduct regular safety inspections and implement corrective actions as needed. Maintain documentation of safety protocols, maintenance activities, and compliance records.

Team Coordination

Work effectively with the soft services executive to ensure seamless facility operations. Provide guidance and coordination to ensure all aspects of facility management—both technical and soft services—are aligned and executed efficiently.

Technical Expertise:

  • Comprehensive working knowledge of building maintenance policies and procedures in corporate settings
  • Hands-on proficiency in electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems management
  • Understanding of plumbing, carpentry, and general property management principles
  • Experience with critical environment operations and safety protocols in corporate facilities
  • Proven track record in preventative maintenance planning and execution
  • Knowledge of energy management systems and sustainability practices
  • Familiarity with corporate facility standards and client expectations
