Job Description

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead Chatbot Development: Design, develop, and deploy advanced chatbot features using LLMs, Agentic AI, and other AI frameworks.
  • Operational Ownership: Manage day-to-day chatbot operations, including performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization for high availability and reliability.
  • Feature Delivery: Own the full lifecycle of chatbot feature development from ideation to deployment ensuring high-quality user experiences and measurable impact.
  • AI and Automation Integration: Implement intelligent automations and backend workflows using Azure AI Foundry and related tools.
  • Knowledge Management: Build and maintain dynamic knowledge bases, intents, and AI-driven decision flows.
  • Continuous Improvement: Analyze usage patterns and feedback to enhance chatbot performance and identify new opportunities for automation.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams such as IT, product, and data science to design scalable, secure, and efficient chatbot architectures.
  • Mentorship: Guide junior developers in AI development best practices, architecture patterns, and operational excellence.

Experience

  • Education: bachelors or masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: 4 to 7 years of experience in chatbot or AI application development, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in Python or JavaScript
  • Proven experience with LLM-based chatbot frameworks and Agentic AI design
  • Hands-on expertise in Azure AI Foundry Azure Cognitive Services , or equivalent cloud-based AI platforms
  • Familiarity with API integrations, event-driven architectures, and backend automation
  • Experience with Moveworks.ai platform is preferred

Operational Skills:

  • Experience managing chatbot environments in production
  • Strong debugging, monitoring, and optimization capabilities
