Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Active Directory Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing and supporting Active Directory environments, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability. This role requires a proactive individual who can troubleshoot issues, implement best practices, and contribute to the overall IT strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain Active Directory infrastructure, including user accounts, groups, and permissions.
  • Implement and enforce security policies and procedures related to Active Directory.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot Active Directory-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to integrate Active Directory with other systems and applications.
  • Conduct regular audits of Active Directory to ensure compliance with organizational standards.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to team members and end-users regarding Active Directory functionalities.
  • Document processes, procedures, and configurations related to Active Directory management.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in Active Directory and related technologies.

Mandatory Skills

  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Active Directory, including user and group management, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), and Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS).
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting Active Directory issues and implementing solutions.
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting for Active Directory automation and management.
  • Understanding of security best practices related to Active Directory.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Azure Active Directory and cloud-based identity management solutions.
  • Familiarity with identity and access management (IAM) concepts.
  • Knowledge of Windows Server environments and related technologies.
  • Certifications related to Active Directory or Microsoft technologies (e.g., MCSA, MCSE).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in IT, with a focus on Active Directory management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
