Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Active Directory Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing and supporting Active Directory environments, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability. This role requires a proactive individual who can troubleshoot issues, implement best practices, and contribute to the overall IT strategy.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Active Directory infrastructure, including user accounts, groups, and permissions.
- Implement and enforce security policies and procedures related to Active Directory.
- Monitor and troubleshoot Active Directory-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate Active Directory with other systems and applications.
- Conduct regular audits of Active Directory to ensure compliance with organizational standards.
- Provide technical support and guidance to team members and end-users regarding Active Directory functionalities.
- Document processes, procedures, and configurations related to Active Directory management.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in Active Directory and related technologies.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Active Directory, including user and group management, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), and Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS).
- Proficiency in troubleshooting Active Directory issues and implementing solutions.
- Experience with PowerShell scripting for Active Directory automation and management.
- Understanding of security best practices related to Active Directory.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Azure Active Directory and cloud-based identity management solutions.
- Familiarity with identity and access management (IAM) concepts.
- Knowledge of Windows Server environments and related technologies.
- Certifications related to Active Directory or Microsoft technologies (e.g., MCSA, MCSE).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in IT, with a focus on Active Directory management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
