Job DescriptionWe are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Technical Documentation Writer to join our team in Bangalore. You will be responsible for enhancing and maintaining the documentation for the OneBill platform, with a strong focus on API documentation and developer guides. The ideal candidate will have a technical background, experience working with SaaS products, and a proven ability to produce clear, concise, and industry-standard documentation.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, improve, and maintain technical documentation for OneBill, including user guides, API references, integration guides, and release notes.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and QA teams to understand new features and document them accurately.
- Create and update API documentation using industry standards (OpenAPI/Swagger, RAML, etc.).
- Ensure documentation is clear, concise, and accessible to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Review and edit existing documentation for accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
- Gather feedback from internal teams and users to continuously improve documentation quality.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in technical writing, preferably in SaaS, telecom, or billing domains.
- Strong understanding of APIs and experience writing API documentation (REST, SOAP, etc.).
- Familiarity with API documentation tools such as Swagger, Postman, or similar.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality documentation.
Preferred Skills- Experience with Markdown, HTML, and documentation generators.
- Familiarity with developer portals and knowledge base platforms.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Ability to work AI tools
