Role Description The Technical Documentation Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Kanpur. This role involves creating and maintaining clear, accurate technical documentation for web applications, platforms, and internal tools, including user guides, installation manuals, API references, and release notes. The specialist will collaborate with developers, designers, and product teams to gather technical information and translate complex concepts into accessible documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences. Daily tasks include organizing and updating document repositories, ensuring consistency with company standards, and reviewing documentation for accuracy, completeness, and usability. The role also includes supporting internal training materials and contributing to process documentation to improve knowledge sharing across the organization.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Technical Documentation and Documentation for software and web-based products.
• Knows about SRS, FRS and User Manuals
• Candidates should possess strong Technical Writing skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in clear, concise language.
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical team members.
• Candidates should possess experience creating structured Manuals, guides, and user-facing documentation.
• Familiarity with documentation tools (such as Confluence, Markdown, or similar platforms) and version control systems is beneficial.
• A background in computer science, information technology, technical communication, or a related field is preferred.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously are important.
• Experience in web development or software development environments is an advantage.
