Technical Director

We are looking for a person who fits into the following criteria:

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Oil & Gas Engineering or a comparable technical discipline.

- Professional experience in well logging and slickline engineering.

- Strong background in mechanical engineering, mechanical design and equipment development.

- Knowledge of hydraulic systems and their design, operation and maintenance.

- Experience with engineering calculations, technical drawings and mechanical assemblies.

- Understanding of oilfield equipment, downhole tools and their operating conditions.

- Experience in developing and improving mechanical equipment and technical solutions.

- Work Location - Germany

Responsibilities

- Design, develop and optimize mechanical and hydraulic equipment for logging and slickline applications.

- Engineer and construct mechanical components, assemblies and specialized downhole tools.

- Prepare technical drawings, 3D CAD models, specifications and engineering documentation.

- Perform mechanical calculations and evaluate materials, load capacities and equipment performance.

- Design, analyze and troubleshoot hydraulic systems.

- Support the development, testing and improvement of logging and slickline equipment.

- Identify technical problems and develop practical engineering solutions.

- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing and field operations teams.

- Ensure that engineering designs meet relevant quality and safety requirements.

Experience

- Experience in the design and development of wireline and slickline tools.

- Knowledge of pressure-control equipment and downhole mechanical systems.

- Proficiency in SolidWorks software.

- Experience in prototype development, product testing and technical validation.

- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, CNC machining and precision engineering.

- Experience with high-pressure systems and hydraulic components.

- Strong analytical thinking and technical problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work independently and develop practical engineering solutions.

- Creativity and innovative thinking in mechanical design and product development.

- Strong teamwork, communication and organizational skills.

- High level of responsibility, reliability and attention to detail.

- English: Technical communication and documentation skills.
