Technical Design Lead, SAP ABAP

SAP Tower Team in KONE IT Application Management is responsible KONE's SAP System Landscape. KONE IT runs one global SAP ERP instance with about 14.000 users in more than 50 countries worldwide. We are now strengthening our team by recruiting.

Configuration Owner, SAP ABAP and Development

As a Configuration Owner SAP ABAP, you will validate, contribute and approve all technical designs. You will work closely with other Configuration Owners in the SAP Team and Solution Design Owners. In this way you will assure that all SAP development initiatives are considering high performance, maintainability, scalability and security.

The Configuration Owner is responsible for establishing guidelines, processes and building a close working relationship with KONE's Development and Operations teams. Both are run by outsourcing partners.

The position is based in India, Pune.

Main Responsibilities:

• Owns the technical solution for all KONE custom SAP development

• Accountable that related technical specifications and design meets stakeholder requirements

• Controls that all changes are recorded, and that change management process is followed (ChaRM process in SAP Solution Manager)

• Participate in the design reviews together with other Configuration Owners and Solution Design Owners to ensure conformance to standards

• Gives guidance to internal/external parties in implementing SAP based technical solutions

• Owns technical documentation and development guidelines related to all KONE SAP custom solutions

• Supports AMS and KONE Service / Change / Release Managers in problem management

Skills, Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, or related discipline

• 10+ years IT experience with minimum 7+ years of hands on experience in SAP ABAP domain

• SAP Certificates: SAP Certified Development Specialist or similar

• SAP Experience

  • SAP Technology and NetWeaver

  • ABAP Workbench Tools

  • SAP Development - ABAP, Java, HTML, BSP, ITS, BC, EDI, ALE/EDI/Workflow, IDOC, RFC, BAPI, User Exits & BADI's, LSMW, SAP Query, development management, ChaRM, Q&A

  • SAP Cloud Platform Services (OData, UI5, ...)

  • Business Rule Framework plus (BRFplus)

  • SAP Personas

  • SAP HANA

• Experience with supplier collaboration / collaboration with AMS and development partners

• Demonstrated track record of clear achievements from previous positions held

• Experience in working in international environment with stakeholders distributed globally Excellent collaboration and communication skills in English
