About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Technical Delivery Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of complex technology initiatives within the Banking, FinTech, and Logistics/Transport domains. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of strong technical acumen, hands-on full-stack and cloud experience, and proven leadership in managing high-performing delivery teams.
This role is suited for professionals who are passionate about technology-driven delivery and can partner effectively with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Technical Delivery Management: Own the complete delivery lifecycle for multiple projects, from scope definition and estimation through design, build, testing, and deployment. Ensure timely delivery within quality and budget parameters.
- Technical Leadership: Provide guidance on full-stack and cloud-based solutions across technologies such as Java/.NET, Node.js, React/Angular, microservices, and containerized architectures (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Support architectural decisions and drive engineering best practices aligned with enterprise standards.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor cross-functional engineering teams; ensure effective workload distribution, skill development, and performance management.
- Stakeholder & Client Engagement: Act as the primary delivery interface for clients and senior stakeholders. Build trusted relationships, manage expectations, and ensure alignment of delivery outcomes with business priorities.
- Account & Financial Management: Track delivery performance metrics, budgets, and profitability. Partner with business and sales teams to identify growth opportunities and ensure account health.
- Governance, Quality & Risk Management: Implement robust governance mechanisms and ensure compliance with internal and client-specific quality standards. Proactively identify risks and mitigation strategies across engagements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 12+ years of experience in IT services or product engineering, including prior roles as a Technical Lead/Technical Manager and at least 45 years in delivery management.
- Hands-on exposure to full-stack development and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Strong understanding of CI/CD, microservices, API design, DevOps, and modern software engineering practices.
- Experience in Banking, Financial Services, FinTech, or Logistics/Transport domains preferred.
- Familiarity with domain-specific compliance and technology ecosystems will be an added advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams, influence stakeholders, and present effectively to executive audiences.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related discipline from a reputed institution.
- Certifications in Agile, PMP, PRINCE2, or cloud technologies are desirable.
