We are looking for an experienced Delivery Manager with a strong technical background in backend systems, cloud platforms, and AI/ML project delivery. The ideal candidate will have started their career as a developer or technical lead and grown into delivery leadership roles. This position requires proven experience managing complex, enterprise-grade technology projects with strong stakeholder and team management skills.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of backend, AI/ML, and cloud-based projects ensuring quality, timelines, and scope adherence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Data Science, QA, DevOps, Product, and Architecture groups.
- Plan, track, and manage project schedules, budgets, risks, and dependencies.
- Ensure effective stakeholder communication, status reporting, and escalation handling.
- Drive Agile/Scrum ceremonies and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Provide technical oversight and guidance on backend architectures, cloud deployments, and AI integration approaches.
- Manage team performance, mentoring, resource allocation, and conflict resolution.
- Ensure adherence to engineering best practices, security, compliance, and delivery governance.
Required Skills & Experience
- 1015 years of IT experience with at least 5+ years in delivery or project leadership roles.
- Strong background in backend technologies (Java, .NET, Node.js, Python, or similar).
- Experience delivering AI/ML or data-driven projects (ML models, GenAI, NLP, MLOps, data pipelines).
- Hands-on exposure or oversight experience in cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP).
- Proven success managing multiple complex projects simultaneously in an enterprise environment.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and project tracking tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.).
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, decision-making, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work on-site 5 days a week from Siruseri, Chennai.
Preferred Certifications (Good to Have)
- PMP / PRINCE2 / CSM / PMI-ACP
- Cloud certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- SAFe Agilist or equivalent Agile certifications
