Position Summary
Technical Delivery Manager (Deputy Manager), in Solutions Delivery – Data and Reporting Teams associated with Cloud based technologies like Azure Services and niche data and reporting technologies like HANA, Databricks, Tableau, python and Power BI.
As a Delivery Manager in the SD, the individual needs to have experience in Data and reporting related technologies, Projects implementation and maintenance. He/She should have People Management, Resource Management experience to manage the team of 6-7 resources.
Work you'll do
As a Technical Delivery Manager on the Solutions Delivery-Canada team, you will be responsible for:
- Lead end-to-end delivery for assigned data and reporting projects and operations.
- Manage delivery across Azure-based solutions and technologies including SAP HANA, Databricks, Tableau, Python, and Power BI.
- Work with technical leads to plan delivery, address design challenges, and resolve production issues and user-reported problems.
- Allocate work, track execution, and manage utilization and productivity for a team of 6-7 professionals.
- Lead performance management, coaching, training support, and stakeholder communication for onshore counterparts and USI leadership.
The team
Solutions Delivery-Canada is an integral part of the Information Technology Services group. The principle focus of this organization is the development and maintenance of technology solutions that e-enable the delivery of Function and Marketplace Services and Management Information Systems.
Solutions Delivery Canada develops and maintains solutions built on varied technologies like Siebel, PeopleSoft Microsoft technologies and Lotus Notes. Solutions Delivery Canada has various groups which provide the best of the breed solutions to the clients by following a streamlined system development methodology. Solutions Delivery Canada comprises of groups like Usability, Application Architecture, Development and Quality Assurance and Performance.
Location: Hyderabad
Shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, business administration, or equivalent work experience.
- 8+ years of information technology experience in data and reporting technologies including Azure Data Factory, Azure services, SAP HANA, Tableau, Power BI, Python, Cognos, and Databricks.
- 3-4 years of experience in data and cloud-based technologies including Azure services, reporting technologies, SAP HANA, PySpark, and Python.
- 4+ years of experience leading projects and operations for data and reporting engagements.
- 4 years of people management experience, including coaching and mentoring team members.
- Experience managing teams of at least 6 resources.
- Experience working on data hub and data warehouse projects.
Preferred:
- Experience with SQL, Unix, extract, transform, and load tools, and reporting tools.
- Experience managing support activities for data and reporting projects.
- Experience resolving tickets within defined deadlines.
- Experience in core project management activities.
