Hiring: Technical Consultant – Linux Platform & Virtualization

We are looking for a hands-on Linux Solution Consultant with 8+ years of overall IT experience, including 3+ years in solution/platform consulting or architecture roles.

Location: Pune/ Mumbai

Experience: 8+ Years

Notice Period: Immediate to 30 days

Mandatory Technical Skills

• Strong KVM virtualization experience
• Advanced Linux/Unix administration & troubleshooting
• Strong infrastructure background across Compute, Networking, Storage & Security
• Hands-on KVM/libvirt – virsh, virt-install, virt-manager
• Strong VMware knowledge – ESXi, vCenter & migration strategies
• Linux kernel, boot process, systemd, filesystems, LVM, multipathing & udev
• Clustering: Pacemaker / Serviceguard
• Storage: SAN/NAS, FC, iSCSI, NFS
• Virtual networking: Bonding/LACP, bridging, VLANs, TCP/IP, MTU, jumbo frames
• Understanding of NUMA, CPU models, SR-IOV, PCI passthrough & nested virtualization
• Ability to translate customer requirements into viable technical solution architectures

Good to Have

• HPE VM Essentials / Morpheus
• Automation & orchestration
• Regulated enterprise environment experience
• Large-scale infrastructure transformation experience

Role Focus

This is a hands-on architecture + implementation role. The ideal candidate should be able to own solutions end-to-end — from requirements and architecture governance through implementation, troubleshooting, validation and production readiness.
