TransFingo Aviation Solutions Pte. Ltd. is seeking a technicallyknowledgeable and commercially driven Business consultant to develop businessacross aviation, aerospace, MRO, aircraft components and aviation logistics inSingapore and the Asia-Pacific region.
The role requires practical understanding of the aviationaftermarket, aircraft component sourcing, MRO material requirements, AOGsupport and time-critical aerospace logistics, combined with strong B2B salesand commercial capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Develop new business with airlines, MROs, aircraft operators, aerospace companies, component shops, aircraft parts distributors and logistics providers.
- Develop sales opportunities for rotables, repairables, consumables, expendables, LRUs, avionics, landing gear components, wheels & brakes, hydraulic/pneumatic components, GSE, tooling and test equipment.
- Analyse customer requirements using Aircraft Type, ATA Chapter, Part Number (P/N), Serial Number (S/N), modification/effectivity, material condition and required delivery lead time.
- Source aircraft components from approved/reliable suppliers and coordinate technical-commercial requirements relating to traceability, certification, inspection status and serviceability documentation.
- Develop MRO opportunities involving component repair, overhaul, exchange, outright sale, lease, loan and consignment, where applicable.
- Develop and manage AOG (Aircraft on Ground) and time-critical logistics solutions for aircraft parts and aerospace equipment.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, airlines, carriers, customs brokers, warehouses and overseas agents for urgent air freight, road feeder, multimodal and specialised aerospace shipments.
- Evaluate freight options based on transit time, routing, airport cut-off, cargo characteristics, shipment urgency and total logistics cost.
- Prepare and negotiate RFQs, tenders, aircraft-part quotations, freight quotations and commercial proposals.
- Analyse acquisition cost, repair cost, freight, handling and other associated costs to establish competitive selling prices and target gross margins.
- Develop strategic supplier and customer relationships and negotiate commercial terms, pricing, payment terms and service levels.
- Maintain sales pipeline, prepare revenue/gross-profit forecasts and achieve agreed business-development KPIs.
- Monitor aviation aftermarket, MRO, fleet and supply-chain trends to identify new products, customers, trade lanes and market opportunities.
- Travel within Singapore and APAC for customer meetings, supplier visits and aviation/MRO industry events.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Aviation, Aerospace, Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, Business or related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience in aviation sales, aircraft parts, MRO, aerospace, freight forwarding, aviation logistics or business development.
- Practical knowledge of aircraft components, aviation aftermarket and MRO supply-chain processes.
- Experience with aircraft parts identification, P/N, S/N, ATA classification, component condition and aviation documentation/traceability will be advantageous.
- Experience handling AOG, aircraft parts logistics, time-critical cargo or aerospace shipments is preferred.
- Strong understanding of RFQ, quotation, sourcing, pricing, freight rates, gross-margin calculation and commercial negotiation.
- Strong B2B customer-acquisition and account-management skills.
- Strong technical-commercial communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM/business reporting systems.
- Self-motivated, commercially driven and able to work independently.
- Willing to travel locally and internationally within the Asia-Pacific region.
