Technical Consultant-Application Security

In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers). These centers are where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and the adoption of new technology.

Your Role and Responsibilities

• Will be working on Application security testing skills.
• Strategize and plan static and dynamic application security testing (SAST/DAST/SCA) tools.
• Will be responsible for Secure Coding Practices.

Required Education

• Bachelor's Degree

• Master's Degree

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• BE / B Tech in any stream, M.Sc. (Computer Science/IT) / M.C.A, with a minimum of 5+ years of experience.
• Application Security Testing: Experience with static and dynamic application security testing (SAST/DAST/SCA) tools.
• Secure Coding Practices: Knowledge of secure coding standards (e.g., OWASP Top Ten) and experience in reviewing code for security vulnerabilities.
• Threat Modeling: Ability to conduct threat modeling sessions to identify and mitigate security risks.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• Vulnerability Assessment: Experience in conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
• Application Security Testing: Experience with static and dynamic application security testing (SAST/DAST) tools.
• Security Tools: Proficiency in using security tools like Burp Suite, Nessus, or Fortify.
