Role Description The Technical Community & Participant Relations Associate is a full-time, remote role. This role involves managing day-to-day interactions with event participants, responding to inquiries, and ensuring a positive experience before, during, and after events. The associate will coordinate community engagement activities, support event logistics, and help maintain communication channels such as email, chat groups, and social platforms. Responsibilities include gathering and organizing participant feedback, assisting with onboarding for workshops or sessions, and collaborating with the events and technical teams to improve community initiatives. The role also requires maintaining accurate participant records, preparing updates or announcements, and representing Frontend Arena professionally in all community-facing interactions.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Skills and Customer Service abilities to build trust and handle participant interactions effectively.
  • Candidates should possess Community Engagement and Community Management skills to support, grow, and nurture an active technical community.
  • Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills, both written and verbal, to manage participant queries and event-related information.
  • Experience working with event management tools, CRM systems, or community platforms is beneficial.
  • Ability to work Fully remote, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize in a fast-paced event environment.
  • Comfort collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders; prior experience in tech events or developer communities is an advantage.
  • A bachelor's degree in any discipline or equivalent practical experience in community, events, or customer-facing roles is preferred.
