Ludotronics is looking for a Technical Cinematic Artist to drive the visual storytelling, in-game cinematics, and trailer pipeline for Our Game.
We are looking for someone who understands the intersection of cinematic direction and real-time technical execution in Unreal Engine 5, a technical storyteller capable of owning scenes from initial shot planning through final Sequencer implementation and rendered delivery.
What You'll Do:Cinematic Direction & Storytelling
- Plan and direct cinematic sequences and narrative moments
- Build emotional storytelling through shot composition, pacing, and camera language
- Handle shot blocking, framing, camera animation, and scene flow
- Work closely with gameplay and environment teams to maintain narrative cohesion
UE5 Sequencer & Technical Implementation
- Own Unreal Engine 5 Sequencer timelines for in-game cutscenes and scripted events
- Create cinematic-quality shots using real-time rendering workflows
- Manage cinematic cameras, animation timing, transitions, and scene polish
- Optimize cinematic scenes while maintaining visual fidelity
Trailer & Promotional Content
- Create investor trailers, announcement trailers, gameplay showcases, and narrative teasers
- Drive editing rhythm, transitions, pacing, and cinematic presentation
- Collaborate on marketing beats and presentation strategy
Core Requirements:Unreal Engine 5
- Strong hands-on experience with UE5 Sequencer
- Experience creating high-quality in-engine cinematics
- Understanding of real-time cinematic pipelines
Cinematography & Composition
- Strong understanding of cinematic camera work and real-world lens behavior
- Excellent eye for framing, visual storytelling, and shot continuity
Lighting & Atmosphere
- Ability to create mood, tension, and atmosphere through lighting and post-processing
- Strong understanding of cinematic scene readability
Editing & Pacing
- Experience editing trailers or cinematic sequences
- Understanding of pacing, timing, transitions, and emotional rhythm
Production Pipeline
- Comfortable working with Git / Git LFS pipelines and large cinematic assets
- Ability to maintain organized project structures and cinematic workflows
Nice To Have- Experience working on horror, thriller, or survival aesthetics
- Familiarity with MetaHuman workflows
- Niagara FX experience
- Motion capture cleanup and retargeting
- Sound design and music synchronization experience
- Experience shipping trailers or promotional content for games
