About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analyticalTechnical Business Analystwith strong experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, and coordinating between business and technology teams. The ideal candidate will have prior experience inFinTech,payments,banking, orfinancial software, with a strong understanding of APIs, system workflows, and product lifecycle management.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, functional specifications, and technical workflows.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and QA teams to translate business needs into clear technical requirements.
- Create use cases, process flow diagrams, BRDs, FRDs, and user stories.
- Analyze existing systems and suggest improvements based on user feedback and business needs.
- Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure accurate implementation of requirements.
- Support UAT planning, execution, defect tracking, and release readiness.
- Work with stakeholders to understand integration requirements for APIs, payment gateways, and digital transaction systems.
- Conduct data analysis and generate insights to support product decisions.
- Maintain documentation across product versions and changes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Business, or related field.
- 2+ years of experienceas a Business Analyst or Technical Analyst (FinTech preferred).
- Strong understanding ofpayments, banking systems, wallets, UPI, or digital transaction flows(preferred).
- Ability to understand technical concepts including APIs, databases, and software architecture.
- Experience writing BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and workflow diagrams.
- Knowledge of tools like JIRA, Confluence, Figma, MS Visio, Postman, or similar.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with tech and business teams.
Good to Have
- Experience with SQL or basic data querying
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology
- Exposure to cybersecurity or compliance frameworks in FinTech
- Understanding of cloud-based solutions
