Technical Business Analyst - Data modeling

Project Description:

We are looking for an experienced specialist to work for one of our clients from the banking industry.

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will closely work with the development team. You will be the person who will be able to describe what needs to be done and how in technical way, who define, prioritize and manage the team's sprint backlog, which is managed within a large-scale agile organization based on SAFe. You will be the first point of contact between the Product owner and the team. We are looking for a Business Analyst who would make sure that team backlog is up to date, has proper structure and all User Stories has all needed information in place to enable the day-to-day execution in accordance with business priorities.

1. Capturing, analyzing and documenting business and IT requirements in a clear manner

2. Designing lean operational processes together with the business owners (BPM)

3. Translating business requirements into technical requirements concerning software

4. Systems as well as data models

5. Defining requirements for IT systems and their integration, e.g. using UML

6. Defining acceptance criteria and quality assurance methods

7. Working with people from Business and IT, with different functions and levels

8. Delivering high quality and sustainable solutions

Mandatory Skills Description:

• Have 6 to 8 years experience in businesssystem analysis
• Strong understanding of IT Technologies
• Excellent communication skills
• Have strong analytical skills
• Ability to form strong relationships with IT and Business
• Object-oriented design
• Open minded and self-motivated
• Knowledge in data modelling
• High level of competence in verbal and written English
• Have very good understanding of business as well as technical language
• Create UML diagrams, data flow diagrams, ERD (diagrams)
• Analyzing data and metadata of existing IT systems, using scripts, e.g. SQL
• Working in agile environment, program/project uses SAFe agile framework, team player
• Rest APIs, CI/CD tools, Integration architecture knowledge.
• Hands on core banking and client transactions.

Nice-to-Have Skills Description:

• Project exposure on Wealth Management or Private Banking domains.
