Job Description

Inviting applications for the role of Data Center Operations

Responsibilities:

  • DC Hands & Feet: Operations and management for the supported systems with hands on experience on physical Datacenter support, operations
  • Knowledge on Life cycle management of the hardware and software
  • Manage, Configure HPE, Dell Blade and Rack servers and manage and maintenance H/W, Regular check-up of Servers and Storages
  • Monitor all software and hardware products and ensure compliance to Data Centre standards and systems.
  • Troubleshooting on physical hardware like blades / standalone / chassis / storage
  • Firmware upgrade planning, schedule, and execution in coordination with Operation Lead and Staff team
  • Faulty part replacement if required.
  • Creating case for hardware issues with vendors.
  • Vendor Management and Coordination.
  • Coordinate for remote Data Centre Location for scheduled maintenance and support.
  • Datacenter Emergency Response
  • Follow up Auto Generate email from vendor side
  • New setup installation based on the scope.
  • Networking site cable connectivity
  • Change management for planning outageand CAB
  • Assist with process improvements and best practices in data centre operations
  • Self-driven and able to work independently and work closely with Customer, Ops Leads and Team

Qualifications we seek in you!!!

Minimum qualifications / Skills

Bachelor%27s Degree required. Preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

Preferred qualifications / Skills

Very good written and presentation / verbal communication skills with experience of customer interfacing role. In-depth requirement understanding skills with good analytical and problem solving ability, interpersonal efficiency, and positive attitude
