About the Role: The Technical Assistant (TA) to MD & CEO will support the MD&CEO's Office in driving strategic execution, structured decision-making, and disciplined follow-through on ongoing & identified priority initiatives. The role will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to translate strategic direction into actionable plans, provide data-driven insights, and strengthen internal operating cadence & support decision making. Individual is expected to act as an analytical and execution support resource, enabling MD&CEO to focus on high-impact decisions while ensuring clarity, coordination, and timely progress across key initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic & Cross-Functional Execution: Support the MD/CEO in driving priority cross-functional initiatives aligned to EESL's strategic objectives, including new business initiatives, operational improvement programs, and customer experience enhancements. Work with functional teams to translate strategic direction into structured plans, milestones, and execution trackers.
- Operational Rhythm & Governance Support: Assist in strengthening internal operating cadence, including monthly/quarterly business reviews, annual planning cycles, leadership meetings, and review forums. Track decisions, action items, and dependencies emerging from MD/CEO-led reviews and ensure disciplined follow-through across functions.
- Analytics, Research & Decision Support: Work with functional leaders to structure data-driven analyses and research to support leadership decision-making. Develop concise insights on performance trends, risks, and opportunities across key business and operational areas. Support creation of dashboards, trackers, and summary views for MD/CEO consumption.
- MD/CEO & Leadership Enablement: Prepare briefing notes, presentations, and background material for executive meetings, Board reviews, strategy sessions, and external engagements. Ensure leadership forums are supported with accurate data, clear narratives, and well-structured materials.
- Special & Ad-hoc Projects: Support time-sensitive and high-impact initiatives assigned by the MD/CEO that require structured problem-solving and cross-departmental coordination. Bring clarity to ambiguous problems through analysis, stakeholder inputs, and clearly articulated options for leadership review.
Qualifications:
- Engineering & MBA from a Tier 1 institution is preferred
- 48 years of experience across management consulting, corporate strategy, CEO/MD office roles, or strategy/PMO roles in large organizations. Prior experience in industrial goods will be helpful.
- Strong analytical capability; comfortable working with Excel, presentations, dashboards, and structured data analysis.
- Self-driven, with strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
- Strong business acumen with demonstrated ability to operate in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders effectively.
