Description
We are seeking a skilled Technical Assistant to support our technical team in various tasks, including troubleshooting, documentation, and user support. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and be able to effectively assist in the maintenance and improvement of our technical processes.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the setup and maintenance of technical equipment and software.
- Provide technical support to staff and clients via phone, email, and in-person.
- Document technical processes and create user manuals for software applications.
- Collaborate with engineers and other technical staff to improve processes and procedures.
- Conduct training sessions for users on new software and hardware.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in a technical support or assistant role.
- Proficiency in operating systems like Windows, macOS, and Linux.
- Experience with troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts and protocols.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
