Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Technical Architect – Full Stack Engineering to define and own the end-to-end architecture of enterprise-grade digital products and platforms. While the role covers the complete technology stack, it will have a strong focus on backend engineering, including microservices, APIs, databases, event-driven systems, cloud-native services, security, integrations, observability and platform reliability. The architect will work closely with product managers, engineering managers, developers, DevOps teams, security specialists and client stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. The role requires hands-on technical depth, strong architecture judgement and the ability to guide engineering teams from design through implementation and production operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end architecture for enterprise full-stack applications.
• Design scalable backend services, microservices and distributed systems.
• Establish standards for REST, GraphQL and gRPC APIs.
• Architect event-driven and asynchronous systems using Kafka, Kinesis, RabbitMQ, SQS or equivalent tools.
• Design relational, NoSQL and caching solutions for performance and scalability.
• Define application security using OAuth 2.0, JWT, RBAC/ABAC, encryption and tenant isolation.
• Guide frontend architecture using React or Angular and TypeScript.
• Design cloud-native deployment patterns using Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD.
• Establish observability, resilience and production-readiness standards.
• Review architecture, API contracts, data models and critical code.
• Lead build-versus-buy and technology-selection decisions.
• Mentor engineers and act as the technical point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 14+ years of software-engineering experience, including 3+ years in an architecture role.
• Strong backend expertise in one or more of the following:
• Java and Spring Boot
• Node.js and NestJS/Express
• Python and FastAPI/Django/Flask
• .NET and ASP.NET Core
• Experience designing microservices, distributed systems and cloud-native applications.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, authentication, authorization, versioning, rate limiting and observability.
• Experience with Kafka, Kinesis, RabbitMQ, SQS, Pub/Sub or equivalent messaging platforms.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases and working experience with NoSQL and caching platforms.
• Production experience with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code.
• Working knowledge of React or Angular, TypeScript and frontend-backend integration.
• Strong communication, architecture documentation and stakeholder-management skills.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Multi-tenant SaaS platform experience.
• Experience with API gateways, service meshes and serverless platforms.
• Knowledge of Terraform, OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog or similar tools.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps and secure software-development practices.
• Experience integrating Generative AI or Agentic AI capabilities into enterprise applications.
• Consulting or client-facing delivery experience.
