Job Description

Spes Manning Solutions is seeking an accomplished Technical Architect with a strong background in React.js and Node.js. This is a senior-level position for a hands-on leader who can not only design and build robust software solutions but also lead and mentor a team of talented developers. You will be instrumental in setting the technical direction, ensuring best practices, and fostering a collaborative environment to achieve organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of developers to achieve organizational goals and project milestones.
  • Architect, design, and develop scalable and efficient applications using React.js and Node.js.
  • Design and implement robust RESTful APIs and ensure seamless integration between front-end and back-end systems.
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment, promoting open communication and teamwork.
  • Ensure code quality and test coverage by establishing best practices and reviewing test cases.
  • Drive technical excellence by staying updated with new technologies and advising on their implementation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements and provide innovative solutions.

Technical Skills & Expertise

  • Front-End:
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
  • In-depth understanding of React.js and its core principles, including Hooks, Lifecycle methods, and state management workflows like Flux/Redux.
  • Expertise in front-end web development using HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap.
  • Knowledge of web design principles and web accessibility standards.
  • Back-End:
  • Strong proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript.
  • Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs.
  • Experience working with various data stores, including SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Architecture & Tools:
  • Hands-on experience with design patterns, error/exception handling, and resource management.
  • Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms like JSON Web Tokens (JWT).
  • Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD tools, and code versioning tools like Git.
  • Familiarity with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Decent knowledge of OOPS concepts.
