Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Node.js Architect to design and lead scalable, cloud-native backend solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Node.js, hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift and/or GCP, strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, and exposure to AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, or Codex.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and architect scalable backend solutions using Node.js and microservices architecture.
- Lead end-to-end application architecture for cloud-native deployments on Red Hat OpenShift and/or GCP.
- Define coding standards, architecture guidelines, and best practices for development teams.
- Develop and optimize RESTful APIs and event-driven services.
- Design secure, resilient, and highly available distributed systems.
- Work closely with DevOps, Security, Product, and Engineering teams for solution delivery.
- Architect database solutions using PostgreSQL including schema design, performance tuning, and scalability strategies.
- Drive CI/CD implementation and container orchestration strategies.
- Conduct technical reviews, mentor developers, and provide architectural governance.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements for platform modernization.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong experience in Node.js
- Hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift and/or GCP
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL
- Experience with GitHub Copilot, Claude, or Codex
- Experience with Microservices, REST APIs, Docker, and Kubernetes

- CI/CD pipelines

Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
