Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Architectural & Technical Consultancy:

  • Provide expert consultancy for BMP asset development and rollout, ensuring alignment with Allianz technology standards.
  • Collaborate with technical leads and IT Architects to define IT standards and maintain the technical integrity of components.
  • Design effective solutions to meet business requirements, leveraging knowledge of BMP platforms and ACM processes.

Technical Leadership:

  • Lead Agile teams technically, coordinating with direct reports to ensure adherence to global IT strategy, architecture frameworks, and standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and support on BMP technology tools such as Java Microservices, Spring Boot, MongoDB, and Kafka.
  • Stay updated with emerging technology trends and recommend adoption where appropriate.

Quality & Governance:

  • Ensure the quality of deliverables by implementing BMP practices across projects.
  • Conduct regular reviews and audits to maintain high standards in architecture and development practices.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Build and maintain effective relationships with product owners, scrum masters, developers, and other stakeholders.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration to ensure project success.

Process Improvement & Mentorship:

  • Identify opportunities to enhance BMP architecture, development practices, and processes.
  • Mentor and guide team members to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
