What You'll Do

A seasoned, experienced technical professional with a complete understanding of software architecture. Resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways. As an Architect, responsible for design and implementation of micro-services architecture based product focusing on SIEM/SOAR platforms, building threat detection solutions, and optimizing workflows for faster threat resolution and better SOC efficiency.

  • Design and implement microservices-based architectures
  • Lead solutioning for cloud-based applications, primarily using AWS (EC2, RDS, EKS, S3, etc.).
  • Develop and validate POCs to demonstrate architecture viability.
  • Automating repetitive SOC tasks to reduce analyst workload and improve Mean Time to Respond (MTTR).
  • Identifies and works on challenging problems; understands and applies business models within the architecture function.
  • Building and maintaining SOAR playbooks for tasks like alert enrichment, incident triage, automated containment, and ticketing.
  • Understand the pros and cons of various approaches to software architecture; develop prototypes to evaluate the feasibility of technical solutions.
  • Transforms user and non-functional requirements into a technical design that is scalable, reliable, performant, and secure; formulates unique solutions to complex problems.
  • Demonstrates independent judgment when determining solutions; identifies and addresses the root cause of issues.
  • Evaluate alternative solutions using research data; drive problem resolution from definition to successful completion; Demonstrate proactivity and focus on getting things done; provide regular feedback and help engineers grow.
  • Provides mentoring to engineers and assists less-experienced peers in prioritizing projects and tasks.
  • Presents ideas to technical and business audiences.
  • Evangelizes the technical vision with the development team, product managers, and program managers

What we're looking for:

We need a Security Product Architect with proven experience building security products from the ground up or enhancing / maintaining, including:

  • 10+ years expertise in Core security product development: Designing and implementing features for SIEM, SOAR, EDR, XDR, threat intelligence platforms, or similar security products or strong in Big Data Analytics.
  • Security domain expertise: Building detection engines, correlation rules, threat hunting capabilities, incident response automation, security analytics, or behavioral analytics
  • Product engineering: Not just deploying/integrating commercial security tools, but architecting the products themselves—defining data models, detection logic etc.
  • Hands-on technical know-how: Experience with security telemetry ingestion, normalization, enrichment, real-time threat detection, and automated response workflows
  • Deep understanding of a runtime platform like python or GoLang/Java/C++
  • Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, and Linux environments
  • Experience on AWS (EC2, RDS, EKS, S3, etc.)
  • Demonstrated proficiency in multiple areas of programming (e.g., web development, concurrency, non-blocking I/O, algorithms, etc.)
  • Very good knowledge of commercial software design and development practices
  • Highly skilled in the following areas: Coding, Software Design, Testing, Test Automation, and Product Design

Ideal background examples:

  • Architected a SIEM correlation engine or log aggregation pipeline
  • Built SOAR playbook engines or orchestration frameworks
  • Designed threat intelligence processing and enrichment systems
  • Developed EDR/XDR detection and response capabilities
  • Created security analytics or behavioral anomaly detection features
