Your Role And Responsibilities
- Architectural Strategy: Assess As-Is vs. To-Be states across all architecture domains; design E2E systems integrating network, application platforms, and database solutions.
- Hybrid Cloud Engineering: Build scalable solutions leveraging AWS and Azure ensuring deep integration between cloud and On-Prem configurations (Server, Storage, SDN).
- Reliability & Automation: Integrate automated quality gates into CI/CD pipelines and develop auto-remediation strategies for availability, latency, and capacity.
- Operational Resilience: Lead recovery strategies for complex failure modes, ensuring compliance with UK banking regulations (FCA/PRA) through Security-by-Design.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise
- Platforms: Mastery of AWS, Azure, Red Hat OpenShift.
- Infrastructure: Deep knowledge of server/storage hardware, network architecture, and hybrid connectivity (DirectConnect/ExpressRoute).
- SRE Mastery: Proficient in scaling, performance tuning, and software engineering (terraform/ansible/python etc.) to automate IT operations.
- E2E Stack: Expertise in the full solution stack, from low-level infrastructure security to high-level application delivery.

- Deep understanding of the Multi-Cloud platforms technology and capabilities to support site reliability goals.
- Participation in on-call rotation.
