Role Description This is an on-site, contract role for a Technical Architect (Java, React) based in Coimbatore. The Technical Architect will design and document end-to-end solutions, define application and integration architectures, and guide technical decisions for complex systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with product owners and stakeholders to understand requirements, creating scalable designs using Java-based back-end services and React front-end applications, and ensuring alignment with enterprise architectural standards. The role involves reviewing code and design deliverables, providing technical leadership to development teams, and resolving architectural and integration issues throughout the delivery lifecycle. The Technical Architect will also evaluate new tools and frameworks, contribute to best practices, and support performance, security, and reliability improvements.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in Technical Architecture and Solution Architecture for complex, distributed applications.
- Hands-on Software Development background in Java, Spring or similar frameworks, and React or comparable front-end technologies.
- Proficiency in Integration design and implementation, including APIs, microservices, and related middleware or messaging solutions.
- Exposure to Enterprise Architecture principles, patterns, and standards in mid to large-scale organizations.
- Experience leading or mentoring engineering teams and providing technical direction in an on-site environment.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP), containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices is an advantage.
- Familiarity with security, performance optimization, and scalability best practices for web applications.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a collaborative, inclusive team culture.
