Role Power Platform Solutions Architect

Experience 15+ years overall; 6+ years in Microsoft Power Platform and cloud solutions

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Power Platform Solutions Architect to lead the design, architecture, governance, and implementation of enterprise-scale solutions using Microsoft Power Platform. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Microsoft Dataverse, Copilot Studio, Azure services, and integration architecture. The role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, product owners, delivery teams, and enterprise architects to design scalable, secure, maintainable, and high-performing solutions. Key Responsibilities Solution Architecture and Design

• Define end-to-end solution architecture using Microsoft Power Platform.
• Design scalable, secure, and high-performing enterprise solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Microsoft Dataverse, and Copilot Studio.
• Establish architecture standards, design patterns, reusable components, and technical guardrails.
• Create conceptual, logical, integration, security, and deployment architecture artifacts.
  
  

Dataverse and Data Modeling

• Design enterprise-grade Dataverse data models, tables, columns, lookup relationships, and business rules.
• Define strategies that minimize data duplication and support data consistency across applications.
• Design Dataverse security roles, field-level security, ownership models, and auditing approaches.
• Plan data migration, archival, retention, and performance optimization strategies.
  
  

Integration Architecture

• Design integrations between Power Platform and Azure services, REST APIs, SQL Server, SharePoint, Dynamics 365, and legacy enterprise applications.
• Define integration patterns for synchronous and asynchronous processing, error handling, monitoring, and resiliency.
• Design secure authentication and authorization using Microsoft Entra ID and supported identity providers.
• Evaluate when to use standard connectors, custom connectors, APIs, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, and API Management.
  
  

Governance and Application Lifecycle Management

• Establish Power Platform governance and Center of Excellence practices.
• Define environment strategy across Development, SIT, UAT, Training, and Production.
• Lead solution packaging, source control, managed solution deployment, and CI/CD implementation using Azure DevOps and Git.
• Define data loss prevention policies, connector governance, monitoring, support, and operational standards.
  
  

Security and Compliance

• Design role-based access, least-privilege controls, data protection, and secure external access patterns.
• Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture, security, privacy, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
• Define logging, monitoring, auditing, vulnerability remediation, and production support requirements.
  
  

AI and Copilot Solutions

• Architect intelligent business solutions using Copilot Studio, AI Builder, Azure OpenAI, and relevant Power Platform AI capabilities.
• Design responsible AI controls, human oversight, data grounding, security, and monitoring for AI-enabled solutions.
• Identify practical automation and conversational AI opportunities aligned with business outcomes.
  
  

Technical Leadership and Stakeholder Management

• Facilitate discovery sessions, architecture workshops, design reviews, and technical governance forums.
• Translate business and non-functional requirements into architecture decisions and implementation roadmaps.
• Provide technical direction, mentoring, and design guidance to developers and delivery teams.
• Support effort estimation, risk assessment, dependency management, quality assurance, releases, and production stabilization.
• Prepare architecture documents, technical design specifications, deployment guides, and knowledge-transfer materials.

• Power Automate: cloud flows, approvals, error handling, and monitoring
• Power Pages: portal architecture, security, authentication, Liquid, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap
• Microsoft Dataverse: data modeling, relationships, security, business rules, auditing, and performance
• Copilot Studio and AI Builder
• Solutions, environment variables, connection references, managed solutions, and deployment pipelines
  
  

Microsoft Cloud and Integration

• Azure Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, Service Bus, Storage, Key Vault, and Microsoft Entra ID
• REST APIs, web services, custom connectors, SQL Server, SharePoint, and Dynamics 365 integration
• Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, API security, integration patterns, and error handling
  
  

Development and DevOps Previous experience of handling large scale enterprise application developed in Java/C#, .NET, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, Power Fx, and REST

• Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines, source control, automated deployments, and environment management
• Experience with custom connectors, plugins, PCF controls, or Azure extensions is desirable
  
  

Architecture and Delivery

• Enterprise and solution architecture, data modeling, integration architecture, security architecture, and performance optimization
• Experience leading architecture for complex, multi-application enterprise programs
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, documentation, presentation, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to balance out-of-the-box capabilities, configuration, low-code development, and custom development

• PL-600: Microsoft Power Platform Solution Architect Expert
• PL-400: Microsoft Power Platform Developer Associate
• PL-200: Microsoft Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate
• PL-900: Microsoft Power Platform Fundamentals
