JD for Cloud Architect, Experience 15 Years range, Working from Bangalore office.
Key Responsibilities
- Architectural Strategy: Design and maintain robust, scalable, and secure architectures across local (on-prem), hybrid, and public cloud environments.
- Kubernetes Orchestration: Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for AKS. You will be responsible for cluster design, security hardening, and scaling strategies.
- Hybrid Integration: Develop seamless connectivity and data integration strategies between local private clouds and public cloud providers.
- Hands-on Implementation: Actively participate in the deployment of infrastructure as code (Terraform/Bicep), CI/CD pipelines, and containerized workloads.
- Modernization: Lead the migration of monolithic legacy applications into microservices-based architectures.
- Governance & Security: Implement Security by Design across all layers, ensuring compliance and data sovereignty in hybrid deployments.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- The Must-Have: Deep, hands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), including ingress controllers, service meshes (Istio/Linkerd), and persistent storage SQL MI.
- Hybrid Expertise: Proven track record managing hybrid environments (e.g., Azure Stack, Azure Arc, or Site-to-Site VPN/ExpressRoute configurations).
- Cloud Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Azure (primary) or AWS/GCP(Optional), specifically around compute, networking, and identity management (Entra ID/Active Directory).
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Mastery of Terraform, Ansible, or Pulumi to ensure environment consistency.
- Local Infrastructure: Solid understanding of virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), physical networking, and storage arrays.
- Scripting: Proficiency in PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation
