About the Role
We are looking for a seasoned Azure .NET Technical Architect to lead the design and modernization of enterprise-grade, cloud-native applications on the Microsoft Azure platform. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in .NET Core, Azure services, and front-end frameworks, combined with strong leadership and architectural skills to drive transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and modernize legacy applications into cloud-native, scalable, and secure solutions on Azure.
- Develop and define end-to-end architecture covering front-end, backend, APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure.
- Lead modernization projects including re-platforming, refactoring, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Provide hands-on guidance to development teams using Angular, React, or Vue.js.
- Design and implement Azure Functions, Web APIs, and JWT-based authentication following best security practices.
- Create data models and manage databases with Azure Cosmos DB and other NoSQL or relational databases.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define technical roadmaps, integration strategies, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Ensure adherence to Agile methodologies, coding standards, and enterprise architecture principles.
- Develop and maintain architecture diagrams, design documentation, and technical blueprints.
- Apply best practices for application security mitigating vulnerabilities such as XSS, SQL injection, and insecure APIs.
- Contribute to or lead the architecture of high-performance, real-time systems (e.g., trading, booking, or e-commerce platforms).
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of experience in .NET application development and solution architecture.
- Proven track record in designing and delivering Azure-based, cloud-native solutions.
- Hands-on expertise with .NET Core / .NET 5/6 and C#.
- Strong experience with Azure Functions, App Services, API Management, and Azure DevOps (CI/CD).
- Solid front-end development experience using Angular, React, or Vue.js.
- Strong understanding of Azure Cosmos DB, NoSQL databases, and data modeling.
- Deep knowledge of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and event-driven systems.
- Working knowledge of security best practices and cloud governance.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and technical leadership skills.
