We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Technical Architect with deep expertise in Azure Cloud and Azure SQL to join our team. This pivotal role will be instrumental in shaping the future of our enterprise architecture, particularly within the financial and banking sector. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in asset management architecture, demonstrating a profound understanding of cloud services, robust security practices, and a commitment to driving simplification and efficiency across our technology landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architectural Leadership: Drive the next phase of our enterprise architecture and data architecture, ensuring all solutions align seamlessly with business and IT requirements.
- Solution Design & Review: Review complex requirements across Asset Management, designing and validating fit-for-purpose solutions that exhibit high levels of security, scalability, and performance.
- Cloud & Database Expertise: Leverage deep knowledge of Azure Cloud services, including Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, Caching, Object and Block Storage, Scaling, Load Balancers, and Networking, to design optimal solutions.
- Architectural Pattern Implementation: Apply and advocate for modern architectural patterns such as event-driven design, microservices, and data mesh.
- Security & Best Practices: Incorporate and enforce security best practices, including encryption, firewalls, and identity management, into all architectural designs.
- Engineering Excellence: Champion proven development experience and engineering best practices within the team.
- Strategic Technology Management: Contribute significantly to the wider collective management of technology. Based on extensive industry experience, develop and champion the architectural agenda, actively driving simplification, efficiency, and effectiveness across the organization.
- Documentation & Standards: Maintain high-level design documents, architectural standards, and other essential technical documentation.
- Resilience Planning: Ensure robust understanding and implementation of business continuity and disaster recovery concepts within architectural designs.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Total Years of Experience: 10+ years
- Relevant Experience: At least 10 years of working experience across the financial or banking sector in roles relevant to understanding and managing an asset management architecture.
- Mandatory Skills: Expertise as a Technical Architect with deep knowledge of Azure Cloud services.
- Strong proficiency with Azure SQL.
- Core Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of Cloud services including Databases (Azure SQL, PostgreSQL), Caching, Object and Block Storage, Scaling, Load Balancers, Networking, etc.
- Experience with Architecture patterns such as event-driven design, microservices, data mesh.
- Understanding of security best practices, including encryption, firewalls, and identity management.
- Proven development experience including engineering best practices.
- Awareness of business continuity and disaster recovery concepts.

Compensation: Approx. INR 10,000 per day (Excluding service tax)
