Overview Of The Role

As a Technical Architect at AVIZVA, you will lead the architecture and design of scalable, secure, and high-performance applications on AWS. You will translate business requirements into robust technical solutions, define architecture standards, and guide engineering teams in building cloud-native systems.

This role requires strong technical depth, hands-on architectural expertise, and the ability to drive engineering excellence while collaborating closely with stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities

Architecture & System Design

  • Design scalable, secure, and high-performance backend architectures.
  • Define microservices and distributed system design patterns.
  • Own API design, data modeling, and system integration.

Hands-on Development

  • Actively code and contribute to core/critical modules.
  • Build applications from scratch (0 → 1) including foundational frameworks.
  • Ensure code quality, performance, and scalability.

Cloud & Platform Engineering

  • Build and deploy solutions on AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway).
  • Implement containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes/EKS).
  • Drive CI/CD and DevOps best practices.

Technical Ownership

  • Own end-to-end technical decisions and delivery.
  • Conduct code/design reviews and enforce engineering standards.
  • Ensure system reliability, observability, and maintainability.

Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with product and engineering teams to deliver scalable solutions.
  • Provide hands-on technical guidance and mentorship.

Skills & Qualification

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 12+ years of experience in a software development organization with a proven track record of leadership in large-scale delivery.
  • Strong expertise in executive-level stakeholder management, strategic planning, and driving business growth.
  • Proven ability to lead complex architecture initiatives while optimizing operational efficiencies and ensuring business alignment.
  • Proven fence in system design, design patterns, and distributed systems.
