Technical Architect

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Technical Architect with 6- 8yrs years of experience in designing, developing, and architecting enterprise-scale applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining technical architecture, driving development best practices, leading engineering teams, and delivering scalable, secure, and high-performance backend solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and own application architecture and technical roadmap
• Design scalable, secure, and highly available enterprise solutions
• Lead backend development using Java and Spring Boot
• Architect Microservices and API ecosystems
• Ensure system performance, reliability, and scalability
• Implement security, monitoring, and observability standards
• Review code, architecture, and technical designs
• Drive cloud adoption and modernization initiatives
• Mentor engineering teams and provide technical leadership
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide architectural guidance

Key Skills Required

Core Technologies

• Strong expertise in Java 8+, Angular & Spring Boot
• Extensive experience with Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Design (OOD), Design Patterns, and SOLID principles
• Hands-on experience in building scalable and distributed systems

Architecture & Design

• Microservices Architecture Design and Implementation
• RESTful API Design and Enterprise Integration Patterns
• Event-Driven Architecture
• System Scalability, High Availability, and Performance Optimization
• Application Security and Secure Coding Practices
• Architectural Governance and Technical Decision Making

Backend Development

• Hibernate / JPA
• Multithreading and Concurrency
• Exception Handling and Logging Frameworks
• API Performance Tuning and Monitoring
• Caching Strategies (Redis, EhCache, etc.)

Database Expertise

• Database Design and Optimization
• MySQL / PostgreSQL
• Query Performance Tuning
• Data Modeling and Database Architecture

Cloud & DevOps

• Docker and Containerization
• Kubernetes
• AWS / Azure / GCP
• CI/CD Pipeline Design and Implementation
• Infrastructure as Code (Preferred)

Good to Have

• Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other Messaging Systems
• Exposure to Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
• Knowledge of Reactive Programming (Spring WebFlux)
• Architecture Certifications (TOGAF, AWS Solution Architect, Azure Architect)
• Experience in FinTech, BFSI, Healthcare, or Enterprise Product Development
