Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Technical and Aptitude Trainer role based in Vellore. The trainer will deliver classroom sessions on quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning, verbal ability, and core technical topics relevant to campus placements. Responsibilities include designing and updating training content, preparing question sets, and conducting practice tests and mock assessments. The role involves mentoring students, analyzing their performance, and providing targeted feedback to improve their readiness for technical interviews and recruitment processes. The trainer will also collaborate with the academic and operations teams to schedule sessions, track learning outcomes, and continuously refine training methods.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Technical Training, with prior experience as Technical Trainers and a strong foundation in relevant engineering or computer science concepts.
- Demonstrated skills in Training & Development, including curriculum design, session planning, and learner engagement.
- Ability to conduct structured Training sessions, manage classrooms effectively, and adapt methods to diverse learner profiles.
- Strong Communication skills, including clear explanation of complex concepts, active listening, and constructive feedback delivery.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications in training or education are a plus.
- Experience in campus placement training, test-prep, or edtech environments is highly desirable.
- Comfort with using digital tools, LMS platforms, and presentation software to support training delivery.
- Growth mindset, willingness to travel occasionally for workshops, and commitment to inclusive, learner-centered teaching practices.
